This course has been designed for advanced Excel users and business practitioners who would like to study financial modeling in London to acquire skills in evaluating businesses by using Excel spreadsheets and preparing a Financial Model from scratch. It starts from basic five-year projections of a real company, preparing financial statements and preparing schedules and customizing for Research Equity analysis, Leveraged Buyout analysis and Mergers and Acquisitions transactions.

• Preparing Cash flow statement from Operations, Investing and Financing activities
• Preparing Balance sheet
• Understanding the relations among all three financial statements

Session 2: Interpretation and Analysis of Financial Statements

• Understanding the basics and objective of financial statements analysis
• Analysing the financial statements from equity investors, creditors and management perspectives.
• Analyse Profitability, Management and market ratios

Session 3: Interpretation and Analysis of Financial Statements

• Basics of present value
• Understanding the future value of £
• Learning of converting present £ to future and vice versa
• Understanding of Inflation in relation to time value of money

Session 4: Understanding and Application of Capital Investment Techniques

• Basics of capital investment techniques
• Application of payback period method
• Application of Net Present Value (NPV) in making economic decisions
• Application of Internal Rate of Return (IRR) in day to day economic decision making.

After attending our two days training, you shall be fluent in understanding financial language and making quantitative economic decisions.
